what holiday?

sigh... already the holidays are slipping away like water from your hand. as always, the moment we return to school, someone would say,'hope you enjoyed your holiday.' come on, even we know you're groaning inside in agony. there was no holiday to begin with!

as you get older, june just seems to become a spamming period for teachers to dump whatever they can find onto you. you actually become more stressed than when you are in school! it's very silly; the teachers think that in order to not make you slack (hello, what are holidays for???), they give you something to do so that your brain doesn't rot away as you stare at your television/computer/psp etc. i know that, but i think they take things too far. just give us a few short assignments, not numerous deadlines to keep us busy ALL holiday!

with the amount of work the teachers dump on us, i'd rather go back to school. wait, is that what they're planning to do?

anyway, i've not posted for some time, because i'm still swarmed with the holiday work. it's like hacking through a dense jungle with a butter knife.

but just when we thought this was the worse, they had to get rid of the holiday when you don't go to school anymore! we should also pity the adults who go to work almost every single day; they probably only rest on public holidays or special occassions at work. they would be even more exhausted than us. then again, if they never worked at all, they would be even more tired...

well, if we can't get rid of the holiday assignments, how about the teachers give us a different kind of assignment? for example, let us do an investigative project on watching movies at the cinema VS on the dvd. that might change things a bit...

finally, to all students who are still swimming in the huge waves of homework, hang in there. sorry i don't have any extra lifeboats. you better learn how to stay afloat, or you'll sink...
